What our customers are saying:
Had a neighbor's tree fall on my garage during the blizzard. Neighbor and I called a few places and either had no call back or price was too high. I called Ed, who had previously removed an ash tree a couple years ago for me. Ed and his crew was at my house on time, removed the tree quickly and did a great job cleaning up after. Very reasonable price. Thank you Ed and crew!!
Quick, Professional and fairly priced. Would recommend!
Ed and his team went above and beyond with our tree removal and cleaning up. We were very impressed with the knowledge, work, and professionalism they brought. Highly recommend for any of your tree needs!!
When I bought my property 30 years ago, I had 50+ ash trees. Over the years, trees have slowly fallen in storms and others had to be removed for safety reasons. Today, I have about 8 ash trees left due to the emerald ash borer, bees, and carpenter ants which remarkably have done a LOT more tree damage than the ash borer. Along the way, I've hired many different tree services and have been disappointed for a wide array of reasons from sloppy work, poor cleanup, and general incompetence. Mix in excessive and/or hidden prices and one clown who re-entered my property at a later date without my permission to service a neighbor near me and did $300 damage to my lawn. I was dreading locating a reliable tree service and getting my trees removed. Barden Tree service was recommended by a neighbor who also got work done at the same time I did along with a 3rd neighbor. The owner of Barden, Ed, is an intelligent, articulate gent who has the latest machinery, does all the "in the bucket" tree cutting himself and has a crew of able bodied, hardworking. attentive folks who do a GREAT job of cleaning up. I had some "tight lies" with a couple of trees next to a paver patio and I was concerned about the pavers getting damaged. Not with Ed on the saw - his decades of experience allow him to expertly cut and drop trees without worry of property damage. I had six ash trees removed, 6 stumps ground out and another elm large tree trimmed to appease a neighbor. The Barden crew uses long rubber tread mats under the crawler/lift machine tracks and 4x8 sheets of rubberized plywood under their skid loader to minimize turf damage. The crew is absolutely relentless - they work hard, know their jobs and do not screw around. When the cutting and trimming was completed, all the lumber and debris was quickly removed, the turf was raked and then blown with backpack leaf blowers and left as clean as could be expected. They even cleaned the street under the branch grinder. Their pricing was fair and competitive and along the way, I added extra trees for removal beyond the original estimate. I can see how any tree service could get delayed because things pop up on every job and mine was no different. Over the years I've had multiple bad experiences with tree removal contractors and you never know that sort of disorganized yahoos are going to show up even with a BBB A+ rating (The BBB ratings are a joke). Barden was finally a strong positive, professional experience and I'll use them again in the spring for other work I have planned. Hope that helps!
Very affordable and job well done. Highly recommend
We need more arborist just like these guys! They went out of their way for a neighbor that informed them a squirrel had made a nest in a tree they were cutting down and went up and retrieved the nest before they began. No babies were in it but he even informed the neighbor when he does find them he puts babies back on the ground by the tree so mama can retrieve the babies! That is a true professional!!
